Blood Donation Camp: Blood donation camp is an annual event organized by the NSS unit of government polytechnic Jammu in collaboration with the Department of Transfusion, GMC Jammu. Doctors from GMC coordinate and collect blood from the donors. Every Year 1st blood donated by Principal of Government Polytechnic Jammu and then followed by teaching and students of this institute. The essence of donating blood that it can save lives of about 3 human beings certainly elates the conscience of donors.

Worlds AID Day- Painting competition was organized on the occasion of WORLD’s AIDS DAY on 1st Dec to spread awareness among staff and students of the institute. The slogan of the year was ”Communities make difference”. More than 25 students participated in painting competition with great zeal and enthusiasm.
