Government Polytechnic Jammu celebrated Teacher Day with great zeal and fervor on 5th September 2024 in the college Auditorium Hall. The function was presided over by Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal of the college. The celebration began with giving tributes to Dr. S Radha Krishnan. Er. Arun Bangotra while addressing the staff and students highlighted the role of teachers in the nation building and lauded entire staff for their exemplary contribution to the college success by getting the Outstanding Polytechnic Award for year 2023-24 from NITTTR Chandigarh. Principal, Er. Arun Bangotra inaugurated the event with a warm welcome speech, acknowledging the teachers hard work, patience, and dedication. Various faculty members shared their views on teachers day. This led to an atmosphere of respect and admiration. Following this, students of this institute presented various cultural programme, exhibiting their talents and skills. The beautiful cultural programme organised by students made the teachers and audience mesmerized. Sh. Manjeet Singh, HOD Electrical mesmerized the audience with his soulful voice. On the occasion Cake cutting was also held. The programme was coordinated by Mr Chamel Singh, Ms Shaila Iram, Ms Poonam and Ar. Manu Rajput. The programme was coordinated by Ms Sakshi Kapai.
