Government Polytechnic Jammu Celebrated 78th Independence Day

Government Polytechnic Bikram Chowk, Jammu today celebrated 78th Independence Day with great joy, fervour and enthusiasm in the college. On this occasion, Principal Er. Arun Bangotra hoisted the National Flag. The HODs, staff, students of Government Polytechnic Jammu, Board of Technical Education, CRPF personals, JK police and children from Staff quarters took part in Independence Day celebration. National Anthem was sung by everyone after the unfurl of Tricolor flag of India. Principal Er. Arun Bangotra highlighted the facts about Independence Day remembering the sacrifices of freedom fighters due to whom all of us are living in independent democratic nation. The patriotic songs were sung by Sh Rakesh Kumar W/I and children from Staff quarters. The sweets were distributed among all the students, staff members and residents of staff quarters. Others who were present on occasion were Er. Sukhdeep Singh, HOD Civil Engg, Er. Raj Kumar, HOD Mechanical, Er. Rani Devi, HOD, Er Sanjay Kaul, HOD Computer, Er. Manjeet Singh, HOD Electrical, Er. Kuldeep Bhatia, Registrar, Board of Technical Education, J&K, Lecturers Sh Dheeraj Kumar, Er Rishabh Gupta, Er Sakshi Kapahi, Sh Chamel Singh PEM, Smt Toshi PET and all the staff and students of the college.
