Government Polytechnic College Jammu organized a Seminar on Stress Management in Collaboration with Youth for Global Peace & Transformation (YGPT) for the Staff and Students of College. While speaking on the occasion, Er. Arun Bangotra Principal of the college welcomed the Team of YGPT and also threw light on Stress Management. He said that mental Health has become a major concern amongst the youth of today and the suicide rate in the country is on the rise and highlight that such sessions are necessary for the enhancement of overall mental health and emotional intelligence of students and staff. Smt Maitreyi Sonee, an author, designer and a very active volunteer at MaitriBodh Parivaar was the resource person for the seminar and the session was very well received by the Staff and students who could relate to it. The seminar covered different triggers & causes for stress especially in todays fast paced world and how it has a debilitating effect on ones daily life. It also highlighted the root cause of stress and various techniques to deal with it. In addition to Smt. Maitreyi Sonee, Dr. Meenu Jain, Mrs. Rashmi Aggarwal, Dr. Amit and Ms. Priyanka also accompanied the YGPT Team. YGPT is the youth wing of the socio-spiritual organization - MaitriBodh Parivaar and its approach towards stress management and youth development has been holistic and complementary to any other rational approach. YGPT was founded by Transformation Pioneer - Maitreya Dadashreeji who is also a qualified Medical Doctor. In 2023, He launched the campaign Chinta Mukt Bharat 2032, a vision of a stress free nation.
