Government Polytechnic Jammu organized Seminar on Soft Skills

Government Polytechnic Jammu today organized seminar on Soft Skills development for the students of the institute. The resource person for the seminar was Major Bhawna Devi (Retd.) who is an eminent social worker, soft skill trainer, education educationist and a renowned administrator.

Er. Arun Bangotra Principal Government Polytechnic Jammu welcomed the guest speaker and stressed upon the relevance of such lectures for the overall development of our students. He added that in a dynamic world where job roles are changing rapidly, soft skills will be one of the few constants. The resource person briefed the students about the various aspects of soft skills. The students actively participated in the seminar and various soft skills like interpersonal skills, communication skills, teamwork, positive thinking, creativity, Critical Thinking, adaptability and emotional intelligence were covered during the session. The proceedings of seminar were conducted by Er. Sakshi Kapahi Lecturer I&C, while Er. Amit Gupta Lecturer Civil Engineering presented vote of thanks. The arrangement was made by Er. Himanshu Bakshi Demonstrator Electrical Engg., Er Vishal Sharma Demonstrator Mechanical Engineering and Er Kamal Kumar Demonstrator Automobile Engineering.
