Government Polytechnic Jammu Organise Training Programme

Six days Training Programme was organised at Govt. Polytechnic College Jammu w.e.f. 09.10.2023 to 14.10.2023 in order up-skills the employees of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) Katra to latest technologies in Plumbing Technique. The programme was organized under guidance of Er. Arun Bangotra Principal Government Polytechnic Jammu. On the valedictory day Training Certificates were distributed by Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal Government Polytechnic Jammu among the employees of SMVDSB in presence of Er. Sukhdeep Singh HOD Civil Engg, Er. Manjeet Singh HOD Electrical Engg and Er. Raj Kumar HOD Mechanical Engg.

During the training Er Sukhdeep Singh HOD Civil Engineering briefed the employees about introduction to various plumbing tools and its manufacturing, safety precautions and service tools. Mr. Pawan Kumar Plumbing Instructor provided hands on training to the employees of SMVDSB on Types of Plumbing tools, its implementation and field practice. Er. Akash Dusgotra, Course Coordinator brief the importance of Providing plumbing training for staff can be beneficial for maintaining and troubleshooting plumbing issues in your facility. Additionally, investing in plumbing tools and resources for hands-on practice can be valuable. The employees were also briefed about the latest technologies established at CIIIT Jammu with the aim of up-skilling and enhancing employability of engineering students to latest trends by imparting skill training on latest technologies as per industry 4.0 such as electric vehicles, mechatronics, IOT, automotive air-conditioners etc. The employees of the SMVDSB thanked the college administration for providing excellent training to them to enrich their knowledge. At the end Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal Government Polytechnic Jammu distributed certificate among the staff for successfully completed one week long training.
