Government Polytechnic Jammu Celebrates World Tourism Day - 2023

Travel and Tourism Department of Government Polytechnic Jammu celebrates Tourism Day with theme and thought of Tourism and Green Investment which highlight the vital need to deliver investment for projects that work for People (by investing in education and skills), Planet (by investing in sustainable infrastructure and accelerating green transformation) and Prosperity (by investing in innovation, technology and entrepreneurship).

Tourism Day is a day dedicated to acknowledging the pivotal role that tourism plays in fostering understanding, economic growth, and global connectivity. It is a day to honor the wanderlust that resides in us all and the profound impact that travel has on our lives. Opening of event by worthy Principal Er. Arun Bangotra, Government Polytechnic Jammu who delivered notes on Importance of this day and contribution of tourism in economy of country and also in employment generation. The whole function was organised by the students and staff of travel and tourism department, which includes speech by students of travel and tourism department and various other cultural activities.
