Government Polytechnic Jammu Organise Training Programme

Six days Training Programme was organised at Govt. Polytechnic College Jammu w. e. f 11.09.2023 to 16.09.2023 in order up-skills the employees of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) Katra to latest technologies in refrigeration and air-conditioning. The programme was organized under guidance of Er. Arun Bangotra Principal Government Polytechnic College Jammu. On the valedictory day today training certificates were distributed by Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal Government Polytechnic Jammu among the employees of SMVDSB in presence of Er. Sukhdeep Singh HOD Civil Engg, Er. Manjeet Singh HOD Electrical Engg, Er Sanam Gupta and Er Ajay Thapa Lecturer Mechanical Engineering.

During the training Er Raj Kumar HOD Mechanical Engineering briefed the employees about introduction to refrigeration, safety precautions and service tools. Mr. Shakti Kumar Instructor (RAC) provided hands on training to the employees of SMVDSB on Types of Compressor (inverter type) for refrigeration and air-conditioners, Condenser and its types, refrigeration control devices, servicing of machines, leak testing with nitrogen, vacuum and gas charging of RAC, Troubleshooting for inverter technology and RAC etc. The employees were also briefed about the latest technologies established at CIIIT Jammu with the aim of up-skilling and enhancing employability of engineering students to latest trends by imparting skill training on latest technologies as per industry 4.0 such as electric vehicles, mechatronics, IOT, automotive air-conditioners etc. The employees of the SMVDSB thanked the college administration for providing excellent training to them to enrich their knowledge.
